The following text is from Arezo Bagheri:
The tanbur,
a melody left from the trumpet of Israfil,
from the heights of Dalahoo to the majesty of Shaho,
from the glorious history of Hawraman to the great spirit of its people.
I was a guest of Master Mozaffar Mansourian, also known as Parishan (Pen name), in the city of Sahneh. His home, known as the 'Anari House,' was warm and full of kindness. He lives there with his two sweet and kind sons, Mastoor and Mehrsam. Both sons are passionate about music and skilled tanbur players.
Mastoor, the elder son, has been playing the tanbur since the age of three. Later, he learned the daf from his father and has been learning the tar for the past three months.
Master Parishan is very humble, sincere, and selfless. He is a kind-hearted man, a devoted father, a masterful tanbur player, and an exceptional poet.
Every week, Master Parishan teaches tanbur to many students and enthusiasts for free in his home. He is the founder of the Mastoor Tanbur Players group and runs a specialized workshop called Mastoor for crafting tanburs.
On this journey to Sahneh, I had a unique experience with a performance by the Mastoor Tanbur Players and master tar player Ali Ghamsari. You can witness this exceptional performance in the film.
